Description

We love a mineral sunscreen stick. We love it more when it’s made from non-nano zinc oxide and skin-saving certified organic oils like jojoba, coconut and avocado. The combo is water-resistant, reef friendly sunscreen that provides broad spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays – and is still gentle enough for sensitive skin and eco systems. Thanks to an organic oil and mineral formula, this sunscreen acts as a skincare moisturizer while still protecting against sunburn, harmful UV rays, break-outs and sun damage.

reef friendly

Unlike conventional chemical sunscreens that are harmful to humans and marine life, All Good mineral sunscreen products are made with the active ingredient, zinc oxide. Zinc oxide is a topical, non-nanoparticle, mineral-based ingredient that sits on top of your skin and won’t absorb into your body; it is one of only two ingredients that has been FDA-approved for general recognition of safety and effectiveness (GRASE)*. All or our All Good reef-friendly suncare products meet broad-spectrum FDA standards and reef safe criteria. Our ingredients do not include chemical UV absorbers, parabens or harmful additives (and especially no octinoxate, oxybenzone, and the other chemicals in the “Awful Eight”).

*The FDA is asking for more safety data on 12 additional active sunscreen ingredients in order to determine whether they can be classified as GRASE. We’ll do our best to keep you informed as soon as we hear more!

Your All Good Products, Mineral Sport Sunscreen Butter Stick, SPF 50, is clearly labeled as non-comedogenic. Is that the case for the FPS 30 too ?

      Hello There,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

      That’s a great question.

“Non-comedogenic” is just a fancy way of saying “this won’t give you comedones,” ie: clogged pores. Our sunscreen products follow the non-comedogenic guidelines (they do not contain ingredients known to clog or irritate pores) but they have not been certified as non comedogenic. (Mainly because the certification process involves testing on animals and we aren’t about that).

I hope this helps answer your question!

      All the Best,
      Alaya

      Hi there!

Our unscented sunstick and the coconut sunstick have a shelf life of two years from the date of manufacture and then a shelf life of eight months once it has been opened.

I got this as part of the 2 All Good Sun Care unscented kits that I bought before a 10 day Caribbean cruise. I had used the sunscreen stick in the past and that led me to try the kit. I’m glad I had them that close to the Equator and I am extremely pale and burn easily. The sunsticks are easy to apply, don’t melt in hot weather, work pretty darn well. Just thick to wash off but that’s okay with me as long as they keep working as well. Looking forward to trying the coconut one next.

I use this sunscreen stick on my face all the time. It doesn’t leave me super pasty white like a lot of natural sunscreens do! It goes on a bit greasy at first but doesn’t take long to absorb.

Before these sunsticks, it was a chore to get my kids to put on sunscreen – the smell, the rubbing, the whiteness all conspired against me. Now, the kids remember to put it on themselves (with me occasionally smoothing in the areas overzealously covered). It’s The. Best.

I purchased two sun sticks for the summer and both of my boys loved how easy they went on. They even said this one doesn’t smell gross like the normal ones.
