On-the-go zinc that protects for days! Made from a mineral blend of Zinc oxide and botanical ingredients, our popular SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen Butter is face (and body!) sunscreen at its best. Super hydrating and easy to blend thanks to coconut oil and jojoba oil, this sunscreen doesn’t leave your skin greasy and won’t clog your pores (sensitive skin, rejoice!). Zinc oxide actually sits on top of your skin to physically block UVA and UVB rays, and beeswax gives this butter an extra “oomph” in the waterproof department (water-resistant for 80 minutes). Broad-spectrum SPF in a handy dandy stick form – you butter believe it!

ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Zinc Oxide 25% (Non-nanoparticle)
INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Organic Cera Alba (Beeswax), Organic Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Flowers infused in Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Non-GMO Tocopherol (Vitamin E).
Unlike conventional chemical sunscreens that are harmful to humans and marine life, All Good mineral sunscreen products are made with the active ingredient, zinc oxide. Zinc oxide is a topical, non-nanoparticle, mineral-based ingredient that sits on top of your skin and won’t absorb into your body; it is one of only two ingredients that has been FDA-approved for general recognition of safety and effectiveness (GRASE)*. All or our All Good reef-friendly suncare products meet broad-spectrum FDA standards and reef safe criteria. Our ingredients do not include chemical UV absorbers, parabens or harmful additives (and especially no octinoxate, oxybenzone, and the other chemicals in the “Awful Eight”).
*The FDA is asking for more safety data on 12 additional active sunscreen ingredients in order to determine whether they can be classified as GRASE. We’ll do our best to keep you informed as soon as we hear more!
Question
Amanda –
I use the 30 spf liquid sunscreen but would prefer 50 spf. I like the liquid because it is matte on my face. Is this product similar to that?

Hello Amanda,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Our SPF 50 daily facial moisturizer is similarly lightweight to our SPF 30 facial lotion. The SPF 50 has a bit more of a luminous finish than the SPF 30.
I hope this helps answer your question.
Feel free to reach out to us at info@allgoodproducts.com with any additional questions.
All the Best,
Alaya

Question
Kerstin –
What’s the main difference between the kids version and the sport version?

Hi Kerstin,
The Kid’s and Sport sun care products are very similar. The difference between them is that the Sport line includes green tea extract to provide antioxidants and the Kid’s has chamomile extract to help soothe sensitive skin. While the Kid’s sun care items may be a little more comfortable for sensitive skin and the Sport could help mitigate against free radicals, both sun care lines are adequate for people of all ages 🙂

I agree, I only bought this product because the product I usually buy was out of stock. I really like it and love the natural, silicone free ingredient list, but will return to my other favorite, which comes in a recyclable container.

Question
Christine –
I just ordered this product (Butter Stick for kids) on Amazon and it arrived in a container that is unsealed. Is that how they are sold? I’m concerned if I should keep it or not?

Hi Christine,
Our Sunscreen Butter Sticks come with threaded caps, but do not have a seal. Unless the Sunscreen Butter Stick looks like it has been tampered with, it is fine.

I purchased this product to use during my SUPing or surf sessions and I love it. I usually get a tinted version to match my tanned skin, but I’m trying to use better products that are reef safe and this aligns with my values. While I do notice some white cast, it’s not any more apparent from other physical sunscreens I used to use. I will continue repurchasing this, but it’d be great if they came out with a tinted version!

It’s so hard to find a good, non-nanoparticle sunscreen for very sensitive, very pale skin that doesn’t make me feel like I’m destroying the oceans. I love this sunblock! It’s the perfect consistency – easier to use than harder sticks, but goes a lot further than liquids. The only problem is, of course, the plastic container.
FYI, it takes quite a bit more effort for it to “blend in clear” than other sunblocks, but I don’t really mind the extra effort. Darker skin tones may have more issues, though,

I have very sun-sensitive skin and spend countless hours in the sun surfing in Morro Bay, CA. I am always on the lookout for a sunscreen that will provide a high level of protection and remain effective while I’m out in the surf. I am very pleased to have found the All Good Sport Butter Stick. It goes on easy, stays on for hours and keeps me from getting sunburned. Extra points for being good for my skin and the environment. Outstanding product!

The application is easy and smooth with this large stick. I use it specifically for watersports and it really has staying power. There is quite a bit of sunscreen in this stick; I’m guessing it will easily last me well into the fall. Reef friendly and human friendly; it’s a great combo!

Great mineral based sunscreen that has a creamy lux texture. Easy to apply. Kept my pale skin protected for multiple full days of sun exposure.

I am a windsurfing intructor, so I am in the sun all day. So far, I really like the All Good sunscreen. It stays on very well in the water and my skin isn’t blotchy with sunburned spots like it had been using other products. Thanks.
