reef friendly

Things we like: Finding Nemo. Things we don’t like: Dead Nemo. Unlike conventional chemical sunscreens that are harmful to humans and marine life, All Good mineral sunscreen products are made with the active ingredient, zinc oxide. Zinc oxide is a topical, non-nanoparticle, mineral-based ingredient that sits on top of your skin and won’t absorb into your body; it is one of only two ingredients that has been FDA-approved for general recognition of safety and effectiveness (GRASE)*. All or our All Good reef-friendly suncare products meet broad-spectrum FDA standards and reef safe criteria. Our ingredients do not include chemical UV absorbers, parabens or harmful additives (and especially no octinoxate, oxybenzone, and the other chemicals in the “Awful Eight”). What’s good for Nemo is good for you.

*The FDA is asking for more safety data on 12 additional active sunscreen ingredients in order to determine whether they can be classified as GRASE. We’ll do our best to keep you informed as soon as we hear more!

Is the 3oz or any other travel size tubes refillable? Is the opening wide enough so that I can refill using the 16oz or gallon pump?

      Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us! That’s a great question.

Our smaller tubes are not specifically designed to be refilled, so I imagine that process could be a bit difficult. The opening at the top of our sunscreen tubes is quite small, so I don’t think refilling from a gallon jug would be the easiest process. If you’re going to refill your sunscreen tubes I would recommend investing in a small funnel to help expedite the process.

Please feel free to reach out to me at Info@allgoodproducts.com if you have any additional questions!

      All the best,
      Alaya

      Hi Ana,

Yes, this is safe to use while pregnant. We craft all of our products with extreme care to ensure that each individual ingredient supports the other and has purposeful meaning in its incorporation.

We do recommend reaching out to your primary care doctor if you have any specific questions about using this sunscreen while pregnant.

      Hi Kaitlin,

The FDA requires an expiration date to be listed for products with SPF. We determine our expiration date based on the stability tests and SPF efficacy tests we conduct on our products that are within those FDA requirements.

      Hi Taly,

Yes! You can definitely use the Sport Sunscreen Lotion for your face. We also recommend our new Face Sunscreen if you wanted something without cocoa butter and shea butter.

      Hi Terry,

Our sunscreens are not certified vegan, however, all of our products are Leaping Bunny Certified. Meaning we and the companies we contract with do not conduct product testing on animals. This specific sunscreen lotion does not contain any ingredients from animals. I would like to note, that our Lip Balms, All Good Goop, SPF 50+ Sunscreen Butter Tins and Sticks, and our SPF 30 Sunsticks do contain beeswax.

      Hi Zoe!

Yes, you can! According to FDA guidelines, our sunscreen can be used on infants 6 months or older. We have an SPF 30 Kid’s Sunscreen Lotion that many customers like to use for their little ones, as well. It includes chamomile, unlike our SPF 30 Sport Mineral Sunscreen, which helps to soothe sensitive skin.

      Hi Rye,

We do not coat our non-nano zinc since we’ve found there are potential environmental and health hazards associated with coated zinc oxide.

Stumbled across this product on sale at a discount chain store. Bought & tried it and I like it. Like the fact that it is a physical sunscreen and feels very moisturizing yet provides good coverage.

      Pancho

      Hi Shri,

If one rubs our Sunscreen Lotion in without applying too much, it leaves a silvery sheen on one’s skin rather than a white cast. We have received feedback from dark and olive skinned customers that our Tinted SPF 30 Sunscreen Lotion blends in better with their skin tones.

      Hope that’s helpful 🙂

  10. Charlie

    Best sunscreen

    Charlie

This is the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. We went to a ballgame yesterday and were in direct sunlight for the whole game. The ballpark doesn’t allow aerosol cans so we brought this cream instead. Although we had already applied a different brand at the house we were already starting to turn red within the first 10 minutes of sitting down. So we applied this sunscreen and neither of us have a sunburn today. I can’t say the same for our friend who opted for a different brand.
I’m amazed. Buying some more for our trip soon!
